Conclusions:
The temples in India were not only places of worship but seats of knowledge. Their architecture is representative of the depth of astronomical knowledge, and also the development of scales. Temples have withstood political turmoil, social and cultural impacts. Their design details depicting the depth of scientific knowledge will help us trace the lost astronomical tradition, which unfortunately shrouded in astrology.
