Musical Waves of Motivation and Inspiration

* Dedications:

To SPORT-INDIA in general,
To TEAM-INDIA in particular..

Life is NOT a dream
Life is Precious
Do not fill it up with TEARS
As one finds a 'pearl' deep in an ocean
One gets happiness after visiting bunch of 'badly' SAD days
Good Days do come!!

"Grow like a tree calmly
and live happily"

(original song in Tamil!)

Life is a challenge, meet it!

Life is a gift, accept it!

Life is an adventure, dare it!

Life is a sorrow, overcome it!

Life is a tragedy, face it!

Life is a duty, perform it!

Life is a game, play it!

Life is a mystery, unfold it!

Life is a song, sing it!

Life is an opportunity, take it!

Life is a journey, complete it!

Life is a promise, fulfill it!

Life is love, enjoy it!

Life is a beauty, praise it!

Life is a spirit, realise it!

Life is a struggle, fight it!

Life is a puzzle, solve it!

Life is a goal, achieve it!

Prayers and Pledge

Remembering School Days..

Vande Mataram
Author: Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay

vande mātaram
sujalāṃ suphalāṃ
śasya śyāmalāṃ
vande mātaram

śubhra jyotsnā
pulakita yāminīm
phulla kusumita
sumadhura bhāṣiṇīm
sukhadāṃ varadāṃ
vande mātaram

I bow to thee, Mother,
richly-watered, richly-fruited,
cool with the winds of the south,
dark with the crops of the harvests,
the Mother!

Her nights rejoicing
in the glory of the moonlight,
her lands clothed beautifully
with her trees in flowering bloom,
sweet of laughter,
sweet of speech,
The Mother,
giver of boons, giver of bliss!

-Translation by Sri Aurobindo

Anand MATH (song):

(The pledge was written by Swami Vivekananda!!)

India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters.
I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage.
I shall always strive to be worthy of it.
I shall give respect to my parents, teachers and all elders and treat everyone with courtesy.
To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion.
In their well being and prosperity alone, lies my happiness .

* In HINDi:

bhaarat mera desh hai | sabhi bhaarateey mere bhai bahan hai | mujhe apne desh sai prem hai aur uski sampann aur vividh parampara par garv hai |
uske yogy hone ke liye mera prayathn zaari rahega | mata-pita, guru tatha agraj mere aadaraneey honge aur unse mera vyavahaar sammaanpoorn hoga |
meri prathijna hai ki apne desh aur janata ke prati meri sradha atal rahegi | unki unnati aur samrudhi par hi mera sukh nirbhar hai |
Jai Hind|

In Telugu:

Thou art the ruler of the minds of all people,
Dispenser of India's destiny.
Thy name rouses the hearts of Punjab, Sind,
Gujarat and Maratha,
Of the Dravida and Orissa and Bengal;
It echoes in the hills of the Vindhyas and Himalayas,
mingles in the music of Jamuna and Ganges and is
chanted by the waves of the Indian Sea.
They pray for thy blessings and sing thy praise.
The saving of all people waits in thy hand,
Thou dispenser of India's destiny.
Victory, victory, victory to thee.

Om ! May He protect us both together; may He nourish us both together;

May we work conjointly with great energy,

May our study be vigorous and effective;

May we not mutually dispute (or may we not hate any).

Om ! Let there be Peace in me !

Let there be Peace in my environment !

Let there be Peace in the forces that act on me !

An article of my interest!!
(and may be to some of YOU too!!)

The human being, the most evolved species in the creation, endowed with power of discretion tapped Nature in order to live in harmony and in doing so strung together a series of sounds, creating what we later termed as music. This medium drawn from the divine, in turn became instrumental in invoking the very source from which it sprang and led man to experience the vast expanse and full glory of the creator. Making a full circle the music born out of nature leads us back to nature in a supreme, sublime and serene way.
What we term as the power of music is not just an exaggerated expression but an established truth that has manifested as a legacy handed down to us by our ancestors. In the urban, techno-savvy din and bustle of our existence, we are ‘synthesizing' music obviously unmindful of its roots and its potency. Let's tune in to Nature and experience the bliss in whatever field we excel.

Nature song

Wake up in the morning
And go for walking
You can hear the birds singing
And the leaves in the trees swinging.
The breeze blows up your hair
Making you feel the fresh air.
The song is melodious
And the view is gorgeous.
But will that last forever?
No, never.
So, stop cutting and hunting
Look at nature and bow
Take a vow,
But be sure that you will nurture nature
For a better and healthy future.

A quick reference on food

Vegetarian food is the best!!

Please show kind heart on wild life (animals,birds..). Let they contribute more and more
for the nature's beauty and balance.

Killing animals for food or for fun is crime and sin. It may be for rituals or for any other reason.

Each and every species created by the ALMIGHTY is meant for balancing the environment.

it is true that I despise purposeless killing, and regard it as an act of vandalism, deserving the severest condemnation.
