Health improving steps and tips
M-
Money management:
- Earn and spend money wisely
- Minimize your needs and expectations
- Lead a contentful life
Take care of food, shelter,love.
Expect less from others.
E-
Enjoy small/little things and activities you do.
For example, spending time with children: In day-to-day busy life(urban), parents(if both are employees) hardly find
time to spend with their children. Whatever time you spend, give your best. Make sure that, time 'epsilon' should not tend to zero.
N-
Transforming negative thoughts to positive thoughts and experiences
??HOW??
For instance, if you are getting a negative thought, try to remember a person/place/thing you love the most.
T-
Tolerance: Avoid getting upset/ try to look at the events objectively and not very emotionally.
A-
Accept (people around you) and adapt to reality of family, society, job, environment and resources.
L-
Love, affection & friendship to All around you.
Do NOT criticize/hate others.
H-
Healthy hobbies & habits. Be regular in your daily routines.
Relax by music, dance, art, yoga, meditation,
sports(preferably, football, hockey),traveling etc.,
(In an interview, a film star said that he gave up smoking by replacing cigarettes by fruits. That is,
Giving up bad habits by replacing good habits (which vary from individual to individual!)).
E-
Emotional expressions.
Share your emotions. Don't suppress them. Increase positive emotions.
Note: If you are alone and if you find NO-WAY to share your emotions, then go in front of your favorite GOD/GODDESS idol and discuss your problems (i am not joking!!).
If you have no faith in 'GOD/GODDESS' concept, replace by persons you love(or pray) the most (mother/father/teacher/friend..so on.).
A-
Keep yourself active & busy. Love your work and work is like worshiping GOD.
Help others and work for good problems and causes.
L-
Listen to others' views (prayerful listening!)
Learn new skills and improve knowledge in your fields of interest (academic and personal).
T-
Targets:
Have achievable targets and keep working to reach them. If you couldn't, do NOT cry. Be positive and optimistic.
Remember 'EDISON' story.
H-
Healthy life style
* Food:
Eat more: Fruits/Vegetables/Grains
Eat very less(almost avoid, if possible!): Fried, oily food and non-veg.
* Sleep for 6-8 hrs.
* Exercise: Brisk walking (hence you avoid risk of 'heart' and 'cholesterol' problems)
Cycling
Swimming
other sports (as mentioned above)
* Slow (and steady) pace of life
* Spirituality
Respect, love and Pray your country,parents,teachers and friends
Pray your religion and respect other religions.

I think if your health is good, you feel happy & active. healthy food is important for your health and yes you made right point that physical exercise on regular bases is important.
