Indian classical music and dance

The light from sun's rays, and the sounds of nature, inspired humans to start responding to rhythm and that was first dance!....!!

Each region of mother India has its own unique classical and folk dance forms, but they all
share a common heritage rooted in the ancient text Natyashastra written by sage Bharata.

Major classical dance styles:

-Bharatanatyam (Tamilnadu)
-Odissi (0rissa)
-Manipuri (Manipur)
-Mohiniattam and Kathakali(Kerala)
-Kathak (UP)
-Kuchipudi (AP)
