The 50-year-old, who hails from Tiruchy and a family of Carnatic musicians
— her father Sethu Madhavan ran a light music troupe
— quit as a manager from Indian Bank (in June) to devote herself to the cause of music and treatment.

“There’s music in every inch of your body. Your circulatory system, heartbeat, flow of blood and biological clock have a rhythm. Your gait, the way you speak, laugh or cry also have musical undertones. When the rhythm is lost, you’re in trouble,” says Sundar.
